Today, we’ll show you how to make a beautiful decorative flower pot at home using air-dry clay, rope and flowers.

Materials needed:

Air-dry clay
A plastic container to use as a mold
A smaller container for the inside
Decorative rope
Strong adhesive
A brush
Waterproof sealant
Soil and flowers

Step 1:
Place the plastic container on a table. Take the clay and cover the outside of the container with an even layer.

Step 2:
Use your fingers to create vertical folds and textured lines in the clay. This gives the flower pot a unique fabric-like appearance.

Step 3:
Shape rounded decorative details around the top edge of the pot.

Step 4:
Allow the clay to dry and harden completely. Once it is dry, carefully remove the plastic container from inside.

Step 5:
Attach the decorative rope around the outside of the pot using strong adhesive. Create a decorative knot at the front and leave some rope ends hanging down.

Step 6:
Apply waterproof sealant inside the pot to protect the clay from moisture. Make sure there is a drainage hole at the bottom.

Step 7:
Fill the pot with soil and plant your favorite flowers. Finally, place it in your garden, on your balcony or near the entrance of your home.
